"The new model - ZX300-5A - in a typical design enables impressive performance, high speed of jobs and ease of operation. It is produced at the Russian Hitachi plant in the Tver region and is supplied to customers in Russia and the CIS countries. Hitachi ZX300-5A excavator is designed to perform various tasks in construction, quarries and oil and gas industry.
Operational weight of ZX300-5A is 28.1 tons in a standard design, while the ZX300LC-5A models weigh 28.9 tons. You can order buckets from 1.1 to 1.6 cubic meters. In addition, the new excavator can be equipped with additional hydrolines: double-flow hydraulic circuit (for a hydraulic hammer and hydraulic shears), double-flow hydraulic circuit with the possibility of summation of flows and auxiliary hydraulic circuit (for mulchers, harvesters and similar equipment). All this makes the new universal equipment ready for any challenge.
Comfortable and safe to operate
The ZX300-5A excavator cockpit complies with ROPS and FOPS requirements, which provides increased operator safety, while additional lights on the boom and cockpit make night-time working more comfortable, and the rear-view camera broadens an operator’s view as much as possible.
Modern comfortable cabin allows an operator to work throughout the work shift without feeling tired. Sophisticated design provides ample space, as well as excellent visibility. Air conditioning, multiple seat adjustments, ergonomic levers and control panels also create a comfortable working environment.
High productivity and work speed
By improving the technical aspects of performance for ZX300-5A by 20% over its predecessor ZX280-5G. New excavators now come with an Isuzu engine with a power of 171 kW and a time-tested, unique HIOS III hydraulic system. Their synergy helps to provide a higher level of performance with high fuel economy. In addition, the rotation speed of the platform is increased by 12%, which accordingly increases the efficiency of work. Power Boost mode (temporary power increase) allows an operator to simply increase the force on the bucket edge by up to 10% by simply pressing a button on the control lever, which also increases total output.
The HIOS III is primarily unique for the most efficient control of hydraulic flows in the process. Thus, the speed at which the handle moves to the boom is increased by combining flows from the boom and arm hydrocylinders through the recuperative valves. In the digging process, the boom lowers under its own weight without using hydraulics, thereby the entire flow created by the pump is directed to the hydraulic cylinder of the arm which, due to the combination of flows through the recuperative valves, increases the speed of the arm. This achieves faster work."
